This was in the “reduced price” section of FB market place.

Honestly I almost kinda like it, except for those tailights. They stick out way too far. Also this price is insane.

Here’s something I’d way rather spend my money on.

Those retro Vettes are pretty hideous to behold; however, I can’t help but appreciate the craftsmanship in creating them.  That said, they’re worth less than an equivalent C5 to me, so that would put it somewhere around $10k.

That’s exactly what I thought okay first look: it’s actually not hideous, except the tail lights. Those are hideous

I think the color helps, it's a pretty shade of burgundy and does look good against the chrome. The whole thing is still hideous though

ooooo I parked one of those, prob 10 years ago or more at this point. I had no idea of their existence up until that point. It evoked kind of an “haha...sad sigh ” reaction.

I don’t hate it. This one looks pretty classy, except the wheels. Oof

My dad, he LOVES these. Always has. Boomer.

The aesthetic I prefer would lead me to choose the Lotus over over the Vette here as well. But I’ve spent time in a lotus and I know the actual experience is miserable. So I’m torn here.

The taillights need to be pointy, a la Cadillac. Otherwise it just looks stupid.

The color absolutely helps. And Altho I don’t love those wheels they are better than the big chrome wheels you expect to  see on these.

Those wheels aren’t great, but it could be worse. I’m surprised they aren’t some big flashy  chrome torque thrust looking things.

The proportions are stretched much to far.

I like the concept of a less-bulky, less dated, more timeless take on a C5 corvette, but I am not sure the classic C1 lines really suit the car when stretched to that length.

I’d much rather see Chip Foose’s concept become a reality.

I kinda like it. Besides not hiding enough of the C5. And I kinda like the taillights too.
